Low Poly Axolotl Figurine – Geometric 3D Printed Silk Pink Sculpture

An axolotl, cut into facets.

This little guy sits up like he's waiting for you to say something. The low-poly geometry keeps the shape sharp and modern, but the proportions are pure axolotl — wide head, stubby arms, the frilled gills fanning out on both sides, and that heavy tail curled around to one side like a cat's.

The finish is what makes it. Printed in silk PLA, which has a genuine sheen rather than a plastic shine — so every facet catches light at a slightly different angle. Move it, or move past it, and the whole surface shifts through pinks: soft blush across the broad faces, deeper rose-pink in the gill frills and along the tail edge. Photos flatten it. In person it reads closer to satin than plastic.

Small enough to live on a monitor stand, a bookshelf, a nightstand, or the corner of a desk without taking over. Big enough that people pick it up.

Made to order

Each one is printed in our Florida studio. Because these are printed individually, small variations in layer texture and sheen are normal.

Care

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. PLA softens in heat, so keep it out of hot cars, closed windowsills, and direct afternoon sun — prolonged sun will also dull the silk sheen over time. Not a bath toy, and not intended for children under 3.
